Peter Stokes died peacefully after a short illness on the 26th November at Salisbury District Hospital aged 79. There was a Requiem Mass at Our Lady of the Imaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Devizes on Wednesday the 8th of December followed by cremation. The cremation was followed by a party at the Bear Hotel, also in Devises.
Peters ashes were scattered on what would have been his 80th birthday at Bussalp, a small hamlet close to Grindelwald.
